In the final NAHL exhibition game played Saturday night at the Richfield Arena, the Austin Bruins beat the Minnesota Magicians 4-3. The Bruins winner was scored by Trey Dodd/St. Louis, MO with 35 seconds left on the clock. The game was fast paced, but not a transtitional game; both teams managed good puck control once they gained possession in their opponent’s net. Both goalies, Bryan Nies for the Magicians and Nick Lehr for the Bruins played well. All in all, a good game to end the NAHL exhibition season. Next Wednesday, both teams will open NAHL regular season play at the NAHL Showcase being played at the Super Rink in Blaine, MN.
