One of the premier tournaments each year at the Bantam and PeeWee level is the Moose Goheen Tournament held by White Bear Lake Hockey Association.  This year’s field is very strong pitting several of the top ten teams from all over the state including both #1 rated teams.  Here is the most up to date results thanks to Tournament Director Jesse Fiddle.

PWAA

Thursday: Edina > Lakeville North (5-2) and White Bear > Champlin (3-1)

Friday: Centennial > Duluth East (8-3), OMG v. Eden Prairie (3-3), Minnetonka > Andover (7-5) and Prior Lake > Woodbury (3-1)

Saturday: Edina > Minnetonka (7-0), Woodbury > Champlin Park (6-4), Centennial > OMG (5-1), Lakeville North > Andover, White Bear Lake v. Prior Lake (2-2), Edina > Andover (3-1), Prior Lake > Champlin Park (6-2), Duluth East > OMG (5-2), Minnetonka > Lakeville North (4-3), White Bear Lake > Woodbury (6-4), and Centennial > Eden Prairie (7-2).

Final Four: Centennial v. White Bear Lake and Edina v. Prior Lake

Commentary: No major surprises this weekend…can Centennial find the magic formula and beat WBL and Edina/Prior Lake winner and repeat last year’s Centennial win?

Bantam AA

Thursday: Wayzata > Lakeville North (4-3), Burnsville v. OMG (2-2), and Edina > Rosemount (5-4)

Friday: Eden Prairie > Duluth East (3-2), Woodbury > White Bear Lake (5-3), and Centennial > Rochester (4-0)

Saturday: Wayzata > Duluth East (6-0), Burnsville > Woodbury (3-0), Edina > Rochester (12-1), Lakeville North > Eden Prairie (4-2), OMG > WBL (3-1), Centennial > Rosemount (2-1), Wayzata > Eden Prairie (10-1), Burnsville > WBL (7-5), Edina > Centennial (7-4), Lakeville North > Duluth East (5-3), OMG > Woodbury (5-0), and Rosemount > Rochester (6-0).

Final Four: Wayzata v. Burnsville and Edina v. Osseo Maple Grove

Commentary: Burnsville scores 4 third period goals in final game to advance, overheard Eden Prairie has lost two players for the season…Lakeville North with an impressive weekend so far….
