Forest Lake tops Minneapolis 3-2 on Jordan Oberholtzer Hatty...Jordan Oberholtzer had a natural hat trick as Forest Lake fought back from a 2-0 deficit to beat Minneapolis Friday from the Fairgrounds. The Storm got two unassisted goals from Henry Evenson.  Aksel Reid had 28 saves for the Storm as they tried valiantly to accomplish a feat of beating Forest Lake something their AA couldn't do a few weeks prior.

Duluth East ousts Park Cottage Grove 5-2...Charlie Erickson lead the Hounds with goals as they held off the plucky Wolfpack Friday afternoon. Big D-Man Vinny Pitoscia added a goal and an assist for Duluth. Park got both goals from breakout player Marco Troje. The Hounds move on to play Mankato Saturday in the Blue Bracket Quarterfinals.

Mahtomedi outlasts River Lakes 6-1 to advance...Grant Kwapick had two goals and two assists for Mahtomedi as they pulled away with three third period goals to beat River Lakes 6-1 Friday. Kwapick had a Penalty Shot goal in the third period when a River Lakes skater was accused of covering the puck in the crease. Isak Nightengale also had a pair of goals for the Zephyrs as they advance to the Championship Blue Bracket Saturday against Forest Lake.

Mankato beats Apple Valley 4-2 on third period goal by Brandon Swenson...Mankato got production from their Three Amigos Brody Lucas, Nate Looft, and Brandon Swenson as they accounted for all four Maverick goals Friday. The game winner by Swenson was cover shot material when he escaped a trip by Apple Valley's Matthew Kochanowski and beat the Apple Valley Goalie for the GWG. The Eagles got goals from big man Colton Bauer and athletic Jack Novak Friday. Mankato will take on AA power Duluth East Saturday.

St. Paul overpowers Greenway 8-5 to advance to Blue Bracket...Jack Nei stole the show for the Capitals netting 2G/2A for the defending Class A PeeWee Champs Friday. Nei's big goal came early in the third with Greenway trailing by a goal and picking up momentum. Adam Zukowski added 2G/1A for the Caps. Mitchell Vekich had a Hatty for the Raiders and Cameron Lantz added three points. St. Paul will take on high powered Alexandria on Saturday.

Alexandria plays all the right cards Friday beat EGF 8-1...Ben Jenson is quickly becoming a household name in Minnesota Hockey netting a Hatty Friday as the Cardinals cruised past East Grand Forks Friday. Caleb Strong added 2G for the red and black. The Cards will take on St. Paul in what will be an epic PeeWee hockey matchup.

Orono holds on to beat Eveleth 6-4...after taking a 5-1 lead heading into the third period, Orono put their game on Cruise Control and underestimated Eveleth. Halfway through the third period the Golden Bears got new life on two goals by big man Nick Beaudette. With the score 5-3, Eveleth got a pretty goal by Goldilocks Elliot Van Orsdel. The slick skating superstar got a loose puck in front and buried it to cut the lead to 5-4 with four minutes left. Orono has a star of their own, Lucas Jorgenson, and he finished off the Bears with an Empty Net Goal....his third of the night. The Spartans will advance to the Blue Bracket and take on Warroad Saturday.

Warroad beats White Bear on goal by Daimon Gardner 5-2...White Bear played a nearly perfect holding the powerful Warriors to just 2 goals for 39 minutes. With the score tied, White Bear Goalie, Ryan Dehling, made save after save to keep the Bears in it. He finished the game with 43 saves. With five minutes left, Squirt eligible Forward Daimon Gardner got a loose rebound in front of a sprawling Dehling and he buried it to give the Warriors the eventual win. Gardner finished the game with 2G. The Warriors will take on Orono in the Blue Bracket Quarterfinals Saturday.
