Ethan Benz scores for the White Thursday night
The Purple and Blue skated to a 4-4 tie Thursday night in the Red and Black League at Dakotah Arena in Prior Lake. Both teams had control of the game at certain points and could not hold on.
After blowing a 3-1 lead, the Blue got a pretty tip in goal by Matt Rozman to tie the score with 4:00 to go in the game. The last four minutes were very exciting, both teams had great chances to win in the final minutes.
Prior Lake's Curtis Hansen had 2G/1A to lead the Purple and both Jack Graveline and Rozman each had 1G/1A. Both teams came into Thursday's games undefeated at 1-0 and were very impressive.

The White team beat the Orange 6-2 on Thursday in the Red and Black League at Dakotah Arena. The White were lead by Mound power forward Blake Hildahl who had 2G/1A. Chaska Freshmen Blaine Warnert and Ethan Benz each tossed in goals for the White. New Prague's Graydon Skok slammed the door in the net to lift the White.
Eden Prairie's Connor Olson was lone scorer for the Orange grabbing two goals, the second on right off the face-off. The White team extends their record to 2-0 in the league and the Orange fell to 0-2.

Mound's Blake Hildahl had 2G/1A for the White in their 6-2 win
Connor Olson, Eden Prairie - fleet footed forward showed great patience with the puck and a penchant for scoring. Olson notched the only two goals for the Orange Thursday night.
Garrett Malmquist, Edina - had great speed and wonderful control of the puck for the White team - the younger brother of Notre Dame Freshman Dylan, Malmquist was the most exciting player we saw at Dakotah.
Curtis Hansen, Prior Lake - strong on his skate and a great shot. Hansen made the most of his opportunities netting 2G and 1A to lead the Purple with points.
Blake Hildahl, Mound - the White team had a great crew of power forwards that dominated the offensive zone - Hildahl had a great night scoring two and adding another assist for his squad.
