Andover's offense will be a strong point this winter.
The Andover Community Center played host to several Under-12 games at the “A” level this weekend, with Edina, Eden Prairie, Eastview and home team Andover taking the ice in a series of preseason scrimmages.
YHH took in both Sunday matchups, with Andover facing Eastview and Edina taking on Eden Prairie in the finale.
Andover cruised past Eastview to start the afternoon, thundering past the Lightning 6-1.
Halle Fields and Josie Hemp each scored twice for the Huskies, with Sara Kaiser and Abagail McQuay chipping in singles in the victory.

Betsy Bjerke scored the lone goal in the loss for Eastview.
Despite being outshot 22-5 by Edina, Eden Prairie managed to keep game two close, surrendering an empty-netter to the Hornets in the final minute of play to pick up the 4-1 loss.
The Hornets got two goals from Sami Hankinson as they peppered the Eagle net. Emma Peschel and Malia Couser each scored once for the Hornets, with Peschel’s goal proving to be the game-winner.
Eden Prairie’s goal was scored unassisted by Taylor Koeppl in the third period.
