Holidangle jumped out to a 10-0 lead en route to a 20-7 win over Playmaker and Hat-Tricks, earning the Squirt A division title of the New Year's Challenge, hosted by The Pond in Rosemount.
Drew Stewart scored a game-high five goals for Holidangle, and was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament, leading all players with 32 goals in five games. Grace Delmonico and Trey Henderson each scored four goals in the win for Holidangle.
Nate Mitchell and Brendan McMorrow each scored two goals in the loss for Playmakers and Hat-Trick.

SQB/SQC Championship
In one of the most hotly contested games of the Challenge, the Eagles edged the Li'l Rascals 12-7, scoring five of the game's final six goals to pull away for the victory.
Nick Manning and Nicholas Poppenhagen each scored four goals to lead the Eagles to the title. Goaltender Dominick Walton was named Challenge MVP for his performance between the pipes.
Keegan Davis and Gavin Karl scored two goals each to top the scoresheet for the Rascals.
