For four days in late March, some of the state's best players come together and don the red, white, gold, and blue, all competing under the banner of the Stars of Tomorrow.
The teams, consisting of boys players from age groups 2004-2009 and girls' age groups for 2004, 2005, and 2006 birth years, are split into North, South, East, and West. The players are divided by the Minnesota Hockey districts as follows:
The teams are stocked with talented players, making for a highly entertaining weekend of hockey, played this year at Braemar Ice Arena in Edina.
Each of the four team in their respective age group are guaranteed four games, with three of those coming during pool play and then as a championship game of third-place game.
