Off-season hockey can mean a lot of things to a player's development. For some, it is a time to develop skills. For others it means playing on a team at the proper level and meeting new people from the area.

YHH launched its first Spring event last weekend, The Big One in Plymouth. The event featured players from all over Minnesota and Wisconsin. In some cases, teams formed late like the Black Bears had players from multiple area codes.

Here are a few "bests" from the weekend.
