Game One: Royal 8, Orange 3

Five different players scored for Royal in Monday's win over Orange, with two goals each coming from Joe Fodstad and Jake Inskeep.

The first half ended with the score tight at 3-2 in favor of Royal, with Thomas Clauson, Fodstad, and Inskeep all scoring for Royal while Jake Rubbelke and Preston Lindholm tallied goals for Orange.

Just under three minutes into the second half, Zach Puterbaugh notched a goal, sparking a four-goal run for Royal. Lindholm scored his second of the game for Orange to make the score 7-3, but Inskeep scored his second of the game to end the contest at 8-3.

Game Two: Red 8, Pink 6

A three-goal outburst by Red near the end of the first half helped push them over the top, hanging on for a close 8-6 win over Pink.

Pink took a 3-1 lead early in the first, with Ryan Blake, Chase Freiermuth, and Drake Gieseke all scoring with a goal by Red's Jett Johnson mixed in among them. A pair of goals by Austin McNeil and a final tally of half by Josh Twardoski pushed Red ahead of Pink 4-3 entering the second frame.

Goals from Red's Jonah Mortenson and Aran Daniels extended the lead to 6-3, with Pink's Freiermuth cutting the advantage to 6-4. Red answered immediately with a goal by Ben Stavros.

Pink scored twice in the final minutes to keep the game close, with Freiermuth completing his hat-trick and Mikhail Greeley scoring his first goal of the game. Mortenson squashed any comeback hopes with a goal for Red.

Thomas Clauson (10) scores for Royal on Monday night.

Game Three: Black 4, Green 3 (SO)

It took two halves and several shooters, but Black eventually emerged as the winner after Jalen Henkel scored the only goal in a game-deciding shootout.

Michael Schroeder and Luke Holmen scored early in the first half to give Green a 2-0 lead, which was sliced in half by a goal from Black's Nick Ladas. Ivan Sunder scored to stretch the Green lead to 3-1 early in the second frame, a lead that would survive for just over seven minutes.

Black's comeback began with a goal from Tyler Sweeney, and Reagan Shepard scored four minutes later to send the game into a winner-take-all shootout where Henkel's goal and Zach Piehl's clutch goaltending proved to be the difference.

Game Four: White 6, Teal 2

After one half, White and Teal stood deadlocked at 2-2, with shots and scoring chances essentially even after 25 minutes of play. The second half would tell a different story, with White tacking four goals on Teal en route to a 6-2 win and a shot at the Red Black League semifinals.

Britt Courneya and Black Harmer gave White a 2-0 lead in the first half, while Sawyer Cirone scored twice to even the score for Teal. Matthew Riley, Quinn Pausche, Harmer, and Cournyea scored in the second half for White, with the scoring plays spanning the entire half as opposed to being scored in the span of a few minutes.

Jean-Marc Johnson played the role of distributor on Monday night, handing out three assists in the win for White.

Jalen Henkel scores the lone goal of the shootout to push Black past Green 4-3.
