16 Minnesotans Listed In Mid-Term Ranks

Bryce Brodzinski of Blaine was listed at No. 117 among 217 North American skaters.

The National Hockey League released their Central Scouting mid-term rankings of North American and International players on Monday. This list can be indicative of where players will be selected in this summer's NHL Draft.

Fifteen players born in Minnesota were named to the list of 217 skaters, while former Maple Grove goaltender Ethan Haider is slated at No. 16 of the 31 North American goalies. Of the 15 skaters, Bobby Brink from Minnetonka was rated highest (No. 29) just ahead of Drew Helleson (Farmington/NTDP) at No. 33.

Seven current Minnesota high school players are listed including Duluth East's Ryder Donovan at No. 46.

Unsurprisingly, NTDP standout Jack Hughes tops the list of North American skaters, while NTDP teammates Alex Turcotte, Matthew Boldy, and Trevor Zegras help round of the top-ten. Finnish forward Kaapo Kakko is ranked No. 1 on the International skater list.

Rhett Pitlick was listed 139th by NHL Central Scouting Monday. Pitlick has totaled 15 goals and 34 points this season.
