Registration for the YHH Squirtacular is now open for teams to sign up. The tournament has grown in popularity the last three years. In our first year, we had 8 Squirt B teams at Braemar Arena. Edina Silver knocked off Minnetonka Black in a nailbiter. In 2013 we had 32 teams, North Branch won the Squirt B title, while Osseo Maple Grove outlasted previously unbeaten Rosemount. Last year the tourney expanded to three classes (A,B,C) and 48 teams. OMG won the title with a 3-1 win over White Bear Lake. Edina Grey won the B title when Billy Kozlak had the hat trick. And, Minnetonka scored with a minute left in regulation and then won in a shootout to beat Park Cottage Grove in the C Championship game.

Based on interest, the YHH Squirtacular will likely expand outside of Minnesota and US borders. Teams from Wisconsin, Illinois, Colorado, Arizona and California have all expressed a desire to come to Bloomington in January.
