Vintage celebrates Trevor Dummer's GWG Sunday
After a packed season of 18 regular season games, the Red and Black league narrowed its 14 team league to two on Sunday. First in the morning, teams fought for the final four, and then in the evening two teams emerged as finalists on Wednesday night in Eden Prairie.

Vintage knocks out Light Blue in thriller
Clinging to a one goal lead the whole second half, Vintage could not hang on - Aaron Frenkel scored for Light Blue to send the game into overtime. In the shootout, Sartell's Devon Peterson shut the door and his fellow teammate Nick Plautz from Sartell sniped the game winner to send Vintage to the title game. After winning their way into the playoffs Saturday night, Vintage knocks off number two Green and number one Light Blue to stake their claim in the title game Wednesday night.
Black is back, they knock off Royal 4-2
Joe Finkel had two goals Sunday night to lead Black to their second win of the day. The Lakeville North product got two assists from Marco Bianchi and the Blacks went on to win 4-2. Armstrong Cooper's Ethan Marsh turned away 27 shots to earn the win in net. Black will face Vintage Wednesday night for all the marbles.

Vintage sneaks past Green 5-3
After losing a 3-1 halftime lead, Trevor Dummer took advantage of a two man advantage and shelfed a shot past the Green goalie to give the Vintage the win. Dummer and fellow Sartell Sabre Lukas Spanier had two goals each in the win. Green scored two short handed goals in the second half, one on a pretty breakaway dangle by Minnetonka's Jayce Hopia.
Black edges Red in shootout, 3-2
The Lakeville North pair of Evan Carlson and WIll Johnson paced Black to a shootout win over Red Sunday morning. Carlson had a goal in regulation and then scored the lone goal in the shootout, while fellow Panther Johnson stopped all five of the Red attempts in the victory.
Royal puts out Flames, 7-5 lead by Orono duo
Dane Korsi and Billy Lynch lead Royal to a berth in the semifinals Sunday - each had two goals and three assists as Royal flushed the Flames. Evan Spadafora pitched in four assists in a losing effort for the Flames.
Light Blue goes heavy on Purple, wins 3-2
Underappreciated Alex Illies netted the game winning goal for Light Blue Sunday. The Edina freshmen helped lead the Hornets to a Bantam A state title last March and was a key reason his R&B teams is headed to the semis Sunday night. Light Blue leading scorer Aaron Frenkel padded his gaudy stats with another geno Sunday as well.
