All 24 teams in each tournament will engage in bracket battles this fall.

Elk River captured the Battle of the Blue Ox title in 2016 over the Aviators of Grand Forks (ND).

Tournaments Enter Fifth Year of Existence

Since 2013, the Youth Hockey Hub has orchestrated two of the most competitive tournaments of the fall for both Peewees and Bantams in the Big Pumpkin and Battle of the Blue Ox.

This season marks the fourth edition of each tourney, and 2017 promises to provide players with a challenging docket of games and a host of experiences on the tournament's respective weekends.

The Big Pumpkin will be played from Oct. 27-29 in Moorhead, with some of the top Peewee AA and A teams converging on the Red River for bracket play.

Maple Grove will host the Battle for the Blaue Ox from Nov. 10-12 for Bantam AA's, with a few exceptional Bantam A squads in the mix.

Osseo-Mapke Grove took the Black Bracket Big Pumpkin title in 2016.
