The section playoffs started in earnest Thursday night, with 30+ games on tap all over Minnesota. With each team focused on one goal...the Xcel Energy Center. Not a lot of surprises, but a few near misses from the upset Monster.

Minnehaha Academy - the sixth seed had their chances Thursday.
Rochester Mayo - the Spartans took Lakeville South to the brink losing in OT.
