Big day of 14 games in Rosemount...catch all scores, pics and scoring leaders from The Pond

Furious Friday at The Pond

Green Dash and SW Sharks battled on Friday at the Pond

As temperatures rose outside in the Twin Cities Friday, the thermometer spiked at The Pond in Rosemount as well both figuratively and literally.  There were 14 games Friday, spanning all five divisions in the Leprechaun Days 3v3 tourney.  It was fitting that we saw a lot of green in the winner's column again on Friday. The Green Dash, Wildcats and Ice Cats all had big wins wearing green.

The PeeWee Division has had some great games so far...Friday the Lucky Pucks beat the Knights of Rochester 13-11 after narrowly defeat the Rochester Knights 13-12 on Thursday. These close scores suggest we will have some fireworks later in the weekend, bring your ear plugs.

The Ice Cats have been the class of the Squirt A division so far, scoring 60 goals in three games. Blake Pavek has 15 goals for the Cats. The Green Dash looked solid defeating MN Elite 16-7 Friday.  Jake Palen had six goals and dished out at least three assists on the afternoon.

The Wildcats lead the Squirt B/C division with an unblemished 2-0 record. Fitting their leading scorers is Bennett Mackenzie in this aptly named leprechaun affair. The Cats will have their hands full in an eventual rematch with the Green Dash. The Dash showed explosive power in their win over the Southwest Metro Sharks. Max Henrickson leads all Squirt B/C scorers with 11 goals in two games.
