7 Teams On Tap For Second BEL Minor Season

The Bantam Elite League Minor Division enters its second season of existence with seven teams and 28 regular-season games on the docket. Just one season into existence, the Minor Division has proven to be a fertile feeder group for the Major Division, with most of the players atop the Major scoring and goaltending leaders having spent time in the Minor Division last season.

A handful of players that will be competing in the Minor Division got their first taste of the Bantam Elite League while playing for the Rangers, a rotating cast of young players skating against the second-years.

After opening at St. Louis Park in conjunction with the finale of the BEL Major season, the Minor Division will hit the road for a slate of games at Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks (ND), home of the eight-time NCAA Men's Ice Hockey national champion University of the North Dakota. The league then concludes with playoffs and championship Sunday at St. Thomas Ice Arena Sept. 13-15.
