The Raiders are on a solid ten-game win streak. No. 8 TRF defeating the previous No. 2 Warroad is the notable score of this past week. Bloomington Jefferson is back within the top 10, after being knocked out the other week. The Jaguars are back in after defeating previous No. 10 Mankato.

The Hermantown Hawks soar up two spots this week from No. 4 to No. 2. The Hawks are 5-0-1 since the new year. Elk River is another team that has been undefeated since the new year; the Elks get rewarded by jumping three spots from No. 5 to No. 3 and are 6-0-1 in 2024. Bemidji Blue is 30-3 on the year and one of the better non-metro teams this year. The Lumberjacks get bumped into the top five this week, as some top teams fell in defeat. Minnetonka Black wasn’t ranked this time last week. Now the Skippers are within the top five, with a huge win over previous No. 2 East Metro. Moorhead Black won the Roseau tournament, which is a key factor in putting the Spuds back in the rankings at No. 10 this week.

It's finally Squirtacular week in Minnesota youth hockey. All 10 of the state's best Squirt A teams will gear up this week for a shot at the coveted skates. The Platinum bracket is set up to mirror the boys high school tournament with teams vying for a section championship and a berth in Quarterfinal Saturday at Fogerty Arena.

A lot of tough sections in Blaine (see Section 2 and 8). Those teams will be battled test for a title run. We could see two Woodbury, two OMG and two Edina teams in the final 8.
