Bo Bondy
Rochester Century/John Marshall

It took until the season's biggest game, but Bondy recorded his lone multi-point outing in the Section 1AA finals. During the Panthers' 4-1 upset win over Lakeville South, Bondy registered a goal and an assist, appropriately helping on the game's first goal and scoring the Panthers' fourth.

After recording zero points last season as a junior, Bondy has arrived as a senior, totaling two goals and 14 points for the Panthers from the blueline.  

Chase Borene
Chanhassen

Borene played junior varsity all of last season for the Stormhawks, not as a varsity rotator, but JV-only. 

This year, the senior Borene has worked (and worked, and worked) his way into the Chanhassen blueline top-four, playing big minutes in 27 games and recording two goals and nine points. 

Luke Chorlton
Cretin-Derham Hall

At times overshadowed by his speedy, point-producing younger brother Nate, Luke is one of those veteran players whose presence always seems to make the difference when the postseason rolls around. 

Chorlton defends well in all three zones for the Raiders and makes the simple plays that rarely make the scoresheet but pay massive dividends when trying to play mistake-free hockey in win-or-go-home games.  

Jack Stanius
White Bear Lake

At this point, Stanius may be the hottest player in the state. The junior forward recorded a goal and an assist in the Bears' 3-0 win over rival Hill-Murray in the Section 4AA finals, his fifth and sixth postseason points. If that weren't enough to qualify for a hot streak, the win over the Pioneers was Stanius's eighth in a row with at least two points. 

Due to injury, Stanius has played in only 13 of 28 games this season, but his seven goals and 22 points rank third on the Bears.

Alex Clampitt
Centennial 

A case could also be made for Centennial's Heath Nelson, who has exploded for 35 goals this season, but Clampitt offers the Cougars another supplemental scoring threat behind the exceptional Harper Searles and the rising Nelson. 

Clampitt totaled two goals and four points last year in his first varsity season, and he has increased his production nearly tenfold this season with 15 goals and 34 points. Among those 15 goals are four game-winners, according to MN Hockey Hub. Clampitt scored two goals, added an assist in the Cougars' Section 5AA semifinal win over Rogers, and added a helper in the section finals against Maple Grove.  

Robby Hoch
Edina

What Hoch lacks in flash, he more than makes up for in tenacity. The 6-foot-2 junior defenseman is one of the toughest players to play against in the state's top hockey conference, turning his opponent's dreams into nightmares on a game-by-game basis. Hoch's reach causes problems in passing lanes for the opposition, and he is rarely beaten by a puck carrier in his own zone. 

Kyler Miller
Grand Rapids

Now in his second season with the Grand Rapids varsity, Miller has nearly doubled his scoring output from last season. As a junior, Miller totaled six goals and 11 points for the Thunderhawks. This season, he's got seven goals and 20 points, including a pair of goals and three assists in three postseason games.

When he's not getting on the scoresheet, Miller can be found scratching and clawing for every puck, winning board battles, and clearing the Thunderhawk zone.  

Hayden Japser
Elk River 

Jasper is a defenseman who makes every play he's supposed to, and then executes a few by going above and beyond. A senior, one of four on the Cinderella Elks' blueline, Jasper has two goals and seven points this season, with two of his five assists coming during the Section 8AA playoffs.
