SDP No. 1 for now, Boston Selects and Myhro Hockey within a win over taking over

Brody Dickinson, Boston Selects

In the 2011 Division, two teams are within striking distance of No. 1 SDP, which is in the top spot after a tie with Boston Selects and a win over Myhro Hockey on Friday night. The Boston Selects game featured outstanding goaltending performances by the Selects' Brody Dickinson and SDP's Renner Andersen, and a hat trick from Colton Nash highlighted the win over Myhro Hockey.

Just behind SDP are the Boston Selects and Myhro Hockey. The Selects secured the tie with SDP, then hung 11 goals on the board in an 11-5 win over Ice Exchange. Chris Welby paced the Selects with four goals in the win over Ice Exchange, followed by a hat trick from Carter Watson.

Myhro Hockey built on its Thursday tie with the Boston Selects with a 5-0 shutout win over Ice Exchange. Peter Lyden scored twice in the win, and Ryan O'Leary pitched a 31-save shutout for Myhro Hockey.

Ice Exchange will look to get back on the horse tomorrow with games against SDP at 10:45 AM and Myhro Hockey at 4:15 PM.

Ice Exchange will look for its first win of USEL play on Saturday.
