The Battle for the Blue Ox held in Brainerd, November 15-17 promises to be a great display of Bantam AA hockey in a great hockey town. Our staff and the Over the Boards guys plan to head north to see this great action and report on it all that weekend. With 16 great teams: Elk River, Hermantown, Eden Prairie, Prior Lake, STMA, Edina, Minnetonka, Centennial, Grand Rapids, Rosemount, Bloomington Jefferson, Bemidji, Lakeville North, Eastview, St. Cloud, and host Brainerd. Eight of our Pre-Season Top 10 will make the trip to the Brainerd Lakes area.

Special to the tournament will be a Friday night Pasta feed at Cragun’s.  All teams (players, parents, fans) are invited to this event.  In addition to some great food and social opportunities, YHH will announce it’s Bantam Player of the Year Watch list, interview coaches, players and a special guest or two.  Below are the details to that event:

All teams will have completed their first round game prior to the Pasta feed.  See below for the game times. Seedings will be announced live on YHH, Friday November 1 at 3:00 pm.  Teams from the same Districts will not meet in the first round games on Friday.  Seeds 5-8, 9-12, and 13-16 will be drawn randomly and re-set to eliminate district duplication for the Tournament draw.
