Bantam B's - Who's in, Who's out come March

Out of over one hundred Bantam B teams in Minnesota, thirty two teams go to the four regional tournaments. Eight disticts send three teams to regions and four districts send two teams. Here is my commentary on each of the four regions for Bantam B.

West

15: Park Rapids, Moorhead, Little Falls

10: Andover, Champlin Park, Elk River

16: Lake of the Woods, Bemidji (Blue)

South

3: Wayzata (Navy), Armstrong, MPLS Storm (Orange)

4: Windom, Fairmont, Worthington

5: St. Cloud (White), STMA (Blue)

East

8: Lakeville North, Lakeville South, Johnson/Como

9: Waseca, Mankato, Rochester (Black)

6: Edina, Minnetonka

North

12: Grand Rapids, Hibbing, Greenway

11: Cloquet, Hermantown (Blue), Duluth East (Black)

2: White Bear Lake, Tartan

The West region contains district ten and then two of the Northern districts. Andover will be the strongest team in this tournament. Moorhead is also a big team and they will also be ready to play.

The South region will be hosted in Brooklyn Park. Wayzata (Navy) is #2 in the YHH Now Rankings and they will be in this regional tournament.

The East region is hosted in Owatonna this year. This region will be the toughest region to play in. Edina, the #1 team in the Bantam B rankings will be in this tournament. Lakeville North will also be a strong squad in this one. Johnson/Como is also a great team and will be ready for the challenge.

The North region consists of two Northern districts and a metro one. This tourney will be hosted by Two Harbors. White Bear Lake will be in this tournament and they will be ready to play. Grand Rapids also has a group of players that have some skill.
