An Inspiring Tale of Sportsmanship

This past weekend Fergus Falls' Bantam B team found itself without a Goalie after their Goalie had become ill. Bryce McGary, a defenseman for the Otters had played some goalie a earlier in the season during practice.  Having no helmet, and not wanting to use his sick teammate's helmet the Fergus Falls coaches turned to their opponent's for help.

White Bear Lake stepped up in more ways than the helmet.  Jacob LeClair, White Bear's backup goalie for the game, offered up his mask to help out McGary's cause.

After the first period and the score already 5-0 in favor of the Bears, LeClair did the unthinkable, he skated over to McGary and gave him some some tips and some moral support.
