Wayzata wins in Shootout, Scores, and Scoring Leaders

Roseau's Paul Huglen bangs home the game clinching third goal for the Rams in their 4-0 win over Eden Prairie.

Sweet Sixteen never tasted so good for these boys.

Some teams come to Fargo to win it all (OMG and WBL), some come to see the best has to offer them (Carolina and Littleton), but a majority really yearn to play in the coveted 2-0 bracket. Sixteen teams made it today.  Some had to overcome a busted bracket (Roseau), other had to go into a shootout after giving up a big lead (Wayzata), and others beat the oddsmakers (St. Cloud and Highland).

On Friday night, every one of these kids will go to bed with championship hopes and dreams.

Denotes Correct Prediction

Prediction Update: So far 37 for 48  (26/32 and 11/16) games predicted correctly. Not my best year. Tomorrow is a make or break day for Tony the Greek.

Braeden Holcomb scores in the shootout for Grand Rapids Friday.
