Will the '03 Machine Orange repeat?

Can Orono's Blake Mesenburg lead the Machine Orange to a win in the Caribou Cup?

The 2014 Caribou Cup is this weekend and YHH will be covering games all over the Twin Cities...seeing games at all levels of AAA hockey. The Caribou Cup draws several great local teams and a few from outside of the Minnesota borders. Here is a look at who YHH thinks will be walking away with hardware...or in the case of the Caribou the Wood.

2000: Team Pugi > Lions Hockey

Notes: Pugi is made up of several Euro Red '00 players...strong team should be in Winner's Circle Sunday.

2001: Sweet Hands > Machine Orange

Notes: Sweet Hands is mostly '01 Blades players...YHH picking them to take out the Orange again this year.

2002: MN Blades > Machine Orange

Notes: Best division in the tournament. Five solid teams (Blades, Machine, Euro, Machine Black and Miracle Gold)...any could win it, including Machine Black.

2003: Machine Orange > Miracle Gold

Notes: Machine Orange best team on paper, look for Miracle Gold to contend.

2004: MN Blades > Machine Orange

Notes: Blades have several top players on their roster including 10 from this Summer's Brick team. Blades should cruise this weekend.

2005: MN Blades > Manitoba 2K5

Notes: Manitoba and Machine Orange could win if they can figure out how to stop Oliver Moore and William Whitelaw from the Blades.

Kaden Bohlsen will try to lead Sweet Hands to a win in the '01 Caribou.
