The games this time of year mean a lot. In one game, a team can end its season or end its opponents season. On Saturday, number one seeds like Mahtomedi in PeeWee B would face defeat. Teams like Eveleth Gilbert would erase a 5-0 deficit and beat neighborhood rival Virgina 8-6 to gain a berth in the Regionals. 

Several more teams had exciting wins on Saturday. Trailing 3-2 with under a minute left and facing elimination, Chaska Chan's Bantam B team scored with 30 seconds left to tie Eden Prairie. In the second Overtime, Leo Pinamonti scored for the StormHawks to extend their season for another day.
