Top Teams with Long Streaks heading into Playoffs...did you say Playoffs???

Edina White cruises to easy 7-1 win Sunday over Waconia

As the season winds down, teams continue to come and go. Minnetonka 12A and Edina White (PWB) have been with us almost all year. They will both be tested this week in District Playoffs.

We saw White on Sunday and plan to see some girls hockey this weekend. Duluth Gary Morgan Park is carrying the torch for community based hockey with a nice streak that we are sure the folks at Woodland and Piedmont are jealous of. Two second time visitors to the Hot 10 list, the top Bantam teams in Orono and Moorhead reappear!

Team Level Unbeaten Streak Comments
Edina (White) PeeWee B 37 Huge test Thursday and likely on the weekend with Edina Green
Minnetonka U12A 28 A tough stretch of games in D6 playoffs
Orono PeeWee A 28 Taken to the limit Sunday by Armstrong...
Forest Lake U12A 22 Could be the team to beat come Regions
Duluth Gary Morgan Park (Blue) Squirt B 22 Always fun to see Neighborhood hockey thrive in Duluth
Minneapolis PeeWee AA 19 Maple Grove stands between them and #1 seed to Regions
Edina (Green) U14A 17 A well coached team that just keeps on winning
Orono Bantam A 17 A second timer to the Hot 10, lost to MVI and are now on their second such string of wins
Brainerd U12A 16 This group just keeps getting better - their scores the last two weeks are scary
Moorhead Bantam AA 15 Another second time visitor...only 1 loss all year
