Successful Fall League spawns into the Spring

Red and Black League Champions last Fall

The Minnesota Magicians and Exceed Hockey are excited to announce the expansion of the Red/Black High School Prospect's League. The Highly successful league for high school aged players will now be offered in the spring and fall with two separate divisions. The RBEMHL (Red Black East Metro Hockey League) will be played at East Metro rinks and the RBSMHL (Red Black South Metro Hockey League) will be played at South Metro rinks. The league will wrap up with the Champions from the East taking on the Champions from the South for the Top Hat!

The league is designed to prepare high school athletes for the high school season with high tempo, skill based games. The league uses modified checking rules to decrease the chance of injury during the heavy training times leading up to the season. 180 prospects from 43 different high school's competed in the league last fall.

Tryouts for the Red/Black spring league season will be held March 9th at Richfield Ice Arena in Richefield and Bielenberg Ice Arena in Woodbury. Below is a link to the league flyer or click on this link for more information for the league and tryouts.

Good luck with the remainder of your season!
