2 Great Off Season Products for Summer Training

The ACON Wave Shooting Pad

Each off season, hockey parents are faced with a challenge of what to do and how much to for their son and daughter. Some parents spend thousands of dollars on training of all kinds: skating, shooting, stick handling and strength and conditioning. Others and often times the same parents who are spending money on training are spending money on off season teams and leagues.

Here are two products from ACON that jumped out at us at the recent expo in March. The first is the ACON Wave Backstop Net. It is a full sized net manufactured of galvanized steel. The net itself is official hockey net size with surrounding net making it a combined 126" wide by 74" high. At $149, it is both affordable and very durable. What we liked most about the net was the sides of the backstop net fold in to the main net so it can be used for training and play.

The second product is the ACON Wave Shooting Pad. Unlike any shooting pad we've ever seen, this shooting pad is foldable. Yes, no more carrying the 4 X 8 sheet out into the driveway or street and no more hassle of storing it. This 4 X 8 sheet folds into an easy to carry 32" X 48" mat that can easily stored anywhere inside or out.

ACON was founded in 1996 by importing trampolines into Finland.  Over the years, ACON has expanded into a high quality manufacturing company with a design emphasis on products that keep people outside been active and playing games. ACON's current line of products includes trampolines, hockey training products, basketball hoops, and wooden swingsets. All of which encourage kids to get outside and have fun with friends.
