Grand Rapids star Blake McLaughlin is headed to New York this week

There are six phases in the High Performance process starting back in District tryouts leading into the final phase of the National Camp in Williams, NY. In June, 22 Minnesota players were selected to the camp in New York following the camp in St. Cloud. Three more at-large players were and Todd Scott (who played hockey in Michigan last Winter) were chosen to round out a list of 26 players headed east. 

The schedule for the camp includes on-ice and off-ice training and a group of games played every day except one. Coaches from the US National Program and every top major Division 1 school in the US will be in attendance to check out the fresh new faces to the national hockey scene.
