Sunday’s title game features Tommy Chicago and the Golden Bears, two teams that have no shortage of firepower throughout their lineups.
Tommy Chicago eased into the championship with a 13-1 thumping of the WI Blaze, led by the high-scoring tandem of Charlie Strobel and Matt Gleason. Strobel finished the game with five goals, and Gleason scored three goals and added four assists.
Strobel leads the division with nine goals, and Gleason leads in total points with 14.
The Golden Bears feature do-it-all forward Teddy Lagerback, who’s racked up six goals in Pool Play. Lagerback is a force in both the offensive and defensive ends of the ice, just as comfortable knocking an opponent off the puck as he putting the puck in the net.
2002 Invite
Top-seeded Euro American Red cruised into Sunday’s title game with a resounding 14-1 win over the Steeldogs, while No. 2 seed Magicians scraped past Warrior 3-1 in the other semifinal.
Kyle Kukkonen and Jack Smith combined for nine goals and six assists in the win over Steeldogs, making them the top two leading scorers in the division with 13 and 10 points respectively.
The Magicians gave Euro Red its greatest test during Pool Play, with Euro winning on Kukkonen’s goal with just 12 seconds left in regulation.

Pool Play concludes on Sunday in this division, with Steeldogs and Total Hockey Fusion in the driver’s seat(s) with identical 3-0 records.
One of these teams will enter the playoff round undefeated, as they take each other on in Sunday morning’s session.
In addition to the talented twosome of Tyler Haskins and Joe Palodichuk, Steeldogs’ Connor Smith has proven to be a consistent scoring threat, tying for the division lead in total points.
The Muskies have played both Steeldogs and Fusion relatively close in Pool Play, and could be a spoiler squad if they play mistake-free hockey.
2004 Invite
Steeldogs is the only clear-cut leader at this points, with a sparkling 3-0 record. Jack Strobel has emerged as a difference-maker, leading the division with six goals. Strobel and Steeldogs’ teammate Attila Lippai lead the division with seven points apiece.
Tommy Chicago and Euro American Red are both 1-1 heading into Sunday, and will face each other in a pivotal game regarding playoff seedings.

No. 1 seed Euro American Red will meet No. 3 seed Tommy Chicago in Sunday’s championship, after Euro pulled away from Magicians 6-3 and Tommy Chicago blasted Steeldogs 7-3 in their respective semifinals.
Euro Red features Hagen Burrows and David Kukkonen, who are tied for the divison lead with four goals apiece, not to mention Jack Kernan, who ranks second in the division with seven total points.
Tommy Chicago is led by Jayden Veney and Caden Hegarty, who have combined for 11 points so far.
2006 Invite
Tommy Chicago has absolutely ripped through its games, outscoring opponents 31-6 in just three games.
Tommy Chicago relies on a balanced offense for its dominance, featuring three of the division’s top scorers in Elijah Lewis, Jordan Brothers, and Zachary Woolen.
Steeldogs are in the No. 2 slot in the pool with a 2-1 record, led by Ryan Whiterabbit’s five points.
Game of the Day goes to the 2004 Euro American Red and Magicians, who skated to a nail-biting 4-4 tie.
Magicians took a 4-2 lead over Euro Red early in the third period, and stole most of the momentum.

Instead of folding, Euro Red's Tory Lund scored a gritty shorthanded goal, and Landon Gunderson scored the equalizer with just over seven minutes left in regulation to secure a point for each team.

Swift skater has recorded six goals so far, indicative of his speed and crafty work around the net.
Kevin Kimmes- 2005 Magicians
Effort and grit are the hallmarks of his game. Diving for pucks, scrapping in corners. Kimmes does the dirty work.
Teddy Lagerback- 2001 Golden Bears
Lagerback is a known talent, but he continues to impress. His physical play is effective, and shot is a laser.
Hagen Burrows- 2005 Euro American Red
Has a penchant for great positioning, and used it to his advantage scoring three goals against Magicians. Great at capitalizing on screened goaltenders.
Tory Lund- 2004 Euro American Red
Lund is a hawk around an opposing net, always finding loose pucks and creating chances.
