Ethan Trebil gets GWG for the Stars Friday
Hermantown's Brady Baker scored two goals for the Devils as the boys from the Northeast knocked off the Bruins 2-0 at the Moorhead Sports Center Friday night. Baker a wily Winger converted on two second half goals, one on a pretty one-timer and another on a pretty wrist shot snipe to give the Devils the win. Ryan Ullan was a rock in the nets for the Devils - he had 21 saves, two or three in brilliant fashion. One on a point blank save at the end of the first half that brought gasps to the crowd.
The Devils moved to 1-0 in the Bantam Elite League as they used hard work and determination to beat the Bruins. Ryder Donovan and Landon Langenbrunner played a big role up front for the Devils and Hunter Paine and Carson Cochrane impressed from the blue line.

The Stars beat the Flyers scoring two late second half goals to get the win on Friday at the Moorhead Youth Rink. Ethan Trebil was the hero scoring the game winner with 15 ticks on the clock. After the Flyers were penalized with just over two minutes left in the game, the Stars pressured the Flyers late. After an amazing save by Flyers Goalie Jacob Gathje, the puck popped loose to Trebil who fired the puck that hit traffic and trickled past Gathje for the win.
Grant Docter had a goal and an assist for the Flyers who lead momentarily until the Stars caught fire. The Stars move to 1-0 in the league and the Flyers fell to 1-3 Friday. Kaleb Johnson stopped 10 of 11 shots to earn the victory for the Stars.

The Kings notched their first W in the Bantam Elite League beating previously unbeaten Lightning 5-4 on Friday at the Moorhead Sports Center. The Kings took a 4-2 lead in the second half scoring three straight goals, three minutes apart. Nick Wieben had two goals for the Kings.
The Bolts would not go down easy. Jack Bayless and Robert Christy scored 10 seconds apart to tie the game with 5:37 to go in the game. Both teams battled to the finish, but the Kings were just a little more hungry. With time running out, Nick Davison stole the puck from Bolts defender and quickly put it past the Lightning goalie for the win with only 6 seconds remaining.
Wieben and Davison both finished with two points for the Kings. Jack Perbix ended the night with two goals and Robert Christy had one goal and two assists to put his season point total to eight in four games.

Dylan Schneider scores for the Pens Friday
The Wild got their second win of the week with a 4-2 win over the Penguins Friday at the Moorhead Youth Rink. Trailing 2-0 in the second half, the Wild began to win puck battles that lead to opportunities. The first was an end to end rush by Tommy Winges who beat Brennan Boynton 5-Hole. Then Liam Malmquist got a loose puck tap in to tie the score and the momentum was all Wild after that.
Carver Martin was the Wild hero Friday, netting the game winner going bar in and then he had a pretty snipe goal for the insurance winner with a minute to go. The Wild are now 2-1-1 in the BEL. The Pens fell to 2-2 falling for the second time in as many games.
