Nate Warner scores for the Flyers in their 5-2 Win over Pens Monday

The Bolts came out flying and controlled the game Monday winning 6-2 over the Kings at Maple Grove Community Center. The Bolts were lead by hometown hero Tyler Kostelecky and teammate Jack Bayless each had two goals and an assist for the Black and Blue. After leading 2-1 going into the  second, the Bolts outscored the Kings 4-1 in the third working over Roseville Goalie Kyle Roy with 40 shots on goal for the game.

The Kings will take on Pens Wednesday night for a battle to stay out of the basement in the BEL. The Bolts will look to stay on top with a win over the Flyers who have won four in a row and could make things really interesting with a win at Bloomington.

The Flyers are the hottest team in the BEL winning their last four games. Monday night they scored the final three goals of the night beating the Penguins 5-2. Payton Madison got his first taste of the BEL and walked out of Maple Grove with a goal and an assist for the Flyers. The Penguins put up a good fight, Devan Beintema tied the score for the Penguins on the Power Play, but the Flyers ran off three straight in the second half by three.

The Flyers will look to extend their streak to five games Wednesday night when they take on the league leading Lightning at Bloomington Ice Garden. The Pens will try to get off the Schneid Wednesday when they take on the Kings.

Spencer Schneider scores for the Wild Wednesday in their win over the Bruins

When the BEL named their teams prior to the league, they must have known that the Wild was going to be a team that had some wild games and finishes. Monday was a perfect example, trailing 6-4 halfway through the second half they scored two goals both by their Monday heroes Spencer Schneider and Jackson Wille. Wille tied it with 1:51 to go in the game and Schneider got the lone goal in the shootout to lift the Wild to their fourth win in six games. Schneider finished with three goals plus a shootout goal and Wille had a huge game tallying three and two assists.

The Bruins Jack Jensen had two more goals to add to his league leading totals of 8G/8A. Jensen is a hard worker that is relentless in goal scoring situations. In case you missed the game Monday, the two teams will face off again Wednesday night at Bloomington Ice Garden, a game that will likely find some high scoring and excitement.
