Injury Notes
On Saturday, Edina beat Eden Prairie 6-3 in a very fast paced game. The two teams raced the puck end to end without a lot of stoppages. The Hornets got out early 6-1 and cruised to the win. After the game, Edina Assistant Coach Tim Heigl proposed to his girlfriend Kerry Hurley at center ice. As a way to disguise his proposal, the team huddled around the future groom as Hurle was escorted out onto the ice. After he popped the question (and she accepted), the boys gave a very loud stick tap and the crowd went crazy.
