Several big games Saturday, but none bigger than Holy Family and Eden Prairie at Noon at Braemar. Two top ten teams with a lot to prove. The Eagles came into the season as the number one team and have faltered. The Fire have never been to a section final or the state tournament. The next most important game is between Duluth East and Elk River. The Hounds won a couple weeks ago, but haven't been the same since Hockey Day and the Elks are now healthy and are playing well.
Section 3AA provides the most unknown Saturday. St. Thomas faces Jefferson. The Jags come into the game on a six game winning streak and have Micheal Vande Waa who leads the state in shutouts, including three straight. Burnsville will face Rosemount in the other semifinal. The two teams split in the regular season.
YHH will be in Duluth, Rochester, Inver Grove Heights, Moorhead and St. Cloud Saturday to keep you up to date on all scores and news..follow us on Twitter (@YouthHockeyHub) for all the details.
