The Continental Divide is a series of 20-minute "mini" games that pit the corresponding seeds from the United States and Canada against each other.
The scores of those mini games are added to the overall cumulative score for each country.
After the mini games, Canada emerged on top by a 14-9 score, thanks in large part to the play of Team Canada, which racked up four goals goals in a 4-1 "win" over Great Plains of the United States.
