Austin Burnevik with one of his 4 goals Sunday
The Minnesota Blades beat the Machine Black 11-4 Sunday to capture the Summer Finale in Eden Prairie. The Blades fell behind 1-0 and 2-1 in the first period before the shook off their bus legs and took control. Trailing 2-1, the Blades scored five goals in 12 minute span to take a commanding 6-2 lead.
But the Machine had a little more fight left - Jackson Anderson scored his second goal and Kyle Brazeau jammed in rebound goal 20 seconds later to make it a 6-4 near the end of the second period.
From that point on, it was all Blades. They scored five unanswered goals, lead by Ham Lake's Austin Burnevik who had four goals and two assists including two highlight reel goals, one in the second period and another in the third to put the game away.
Burnevik was chosen tournament MVP and was given a Lottza Mottza player of the game by YHH.

Thomas Kertz scores in the second period forthe '06 Attack
Four different players scored for the Attack in Sunday's championship game, and goaltender Cody Nielsen stood on his head to cement the 4-0 win.
Bryce Wiitala continued his strong play in the Finale with a goal in the first period for Attack.
Cooper Simpson and Thomas Kertz each scored once in the second period for Attack, and Jackson Reeves added a goal in the third to cement the win.
The Attack was also able to kill off three penalties, including two in the third period.

Chaz Lucius scores one his patented backhanders in Sunday's win over Euro American
Even with a short bench, Gradient's energy never dipped in Sunday's win, as they scored five times in a 3:46 span of the third period to earn the '03 title.
Chaz Lucius and Connor Kurth each recorded Hatty's for Gradient, with Cruz Lucius scoring the other two goals and dishing out two assists. Two of Chaz's goals were scored on slick backhanders as a result of crisp passing by Bennet Schimek and Cruz respectively.
Two of Kurth's goals came just 26 seconds apart in the third period for Gradient.
Luke Delzer scored both goals in the loss for Euro American Red.
'03 Summer Finale champs
FCA Minnesota won the U16 Summer Finale with a 1-0 shootout win Sunday in Blaine. After a tight checking defensive battle and five minute overtime, the shootout was back and forth as well. Teddy Lagerback (Minnetonka) and Ben Jenson (Alexandria) both scored for FCA and Aaron Randazzo made the final save to earn MVP honors.
