Aspen Jr. Lady Leafs take 14U A Silver Stick

Hannah Popish (1G, 1A) and Lillian Cassidy (1G) scored the only two goals of the first period and that would be all that the Aspen Leafs would need as they were able to hold off Steamboat Springs for a 2-1 win in the championship game of the Girls 14U A Western Region Silver Stick.

Steamboat was able to pull within one with a goal in the second period, but a scoreless third would leave them just shy of the comeback.  Aspen's Mia Seltzer (3G, 4A, 7 PTS) was the leading point scorer in the tournament for the 14U A division.
