St. Cloud and Grand Forks both cruised to easy semifinal wins on Saturday night to gain the Edina Invite finals. Blake Perbix had four goals and an assist to lead the #6 Huskies past #2 Edina and Hayden Helgeson lead #1 NOW Rankings Grand Forks with a goal and three assists...the Aviators ran off four straight goals in the second to propel them to the win. Sunday will be a rematch of the Eden Prairie tournament semifinal where the Aviators won an epic 6-5 overtime thriller.

Spencer Lewin scored the game winning goal in overtime to lift #1 Orono to the championship game Sunday in the Edina Invite. The top ranked Spartans will face #6 Edina who also won in extra time beating MAML in a shootout. Alex Illies had the GWG for the Hornets.

Eastview snaps Johnson Como's 23 game unbeaten streak to claim the Bloomington tourney title. The Lighting beat the Polar Devils 4-3 Saturday at Bloomington Ice Garden.
Edina Invite (PWAA)
#1 Osseo Maple Grove and #6 Wayzata advanced to the finals Sunday with wins over top ten teams. The Leafbirds knocked off #2 Chaska Chanhassen 4-1, William Matzke had two goals and Ethan Sillerud added a goal and an assist. Wayzata beat #7 Edina 3-2, the Trojans were once again lead by Adam Marshall (one goal) and Gavin O'Connell (two assists).

Both #9 Edina and #7 Osseo Maple Grove won easily yesterday to gain the finals Sunday at 2:00. The Hornets won the two teams only meeting at the Big Pumpkin in October 5-1.

White has a shootout loss on their record and that is it...both teams are undefeated in regulation. White beat #2 Woodbury Black Saturday, Caden Fritz had two goals and an assist for the Hornets. Peter Giertsen lead the Green with three goals Saturday as they cruised to the finals with a 6-0 win over #4 Osseo Maple Grove Black.

#7 Chaska Chanhassen beat #9 Mounds View Irondale Saturday to take the Bloomington Showdown. The Stormhawks have won nine straight games.
Twaddle Elk River (PWB)
Elk River and Hastings will face off for the Twaddle title on Sunday after clinching their pools yesterday. The Elks went 3-0 whipping the competition 12-3 in three games. The Raiders earned their way into the title game with a 2-0-1 record and narrowly winning a tie breaking by a two goal differential margin. Should be a great game, both teams come into the finals on long unbeaten streaks.

Squirt Extravaganza (SQA)
#1 Osseo Maple Grove and #2 Chaska Chanhassen have been on a collision course all weekend, they will meet Sunday for number one bragging rights and the top seed in the YHH Squirtacular. The Leafbirds dispatched Eastview and Edina Green Saturday to clinch a berth in the finals. Danny Nelson had a hat trick Saturday in their win over Edina. The Stormhawks made easy work of beating Blaine (7-2) and Burnsville (14-1). Sam Scheetz, Tyler Smith and Brodie Ziemer were impressive on Saturday.
