The PWAA Predators and BAA Eagles earned wins over Stillwater and Grand Forsk (ND) respectively to claim First Test of the Best Crowns.

Jacob Casey's two goals helped Eden Prairie fly past Grand Forks (ND) to win the First Test of the Best title by a score of 7-0.

PWAA: Woodbury 6, Stillwater 2

Woodbury inverted its goal totals in each period, scoring three times in the first, twice in the second and once in the third to capture the First Test of the Best Peewee AA title in Eden Prairie on Sunday.

Ty Henricks scored early in the first to start the party before Eli Miller of Stillwater cut the music and turned the lights on too early. Goals from Jake Fisher and Will Skahan cranked the Woodbury machine back up, and Predators got goals from Henricks and Benny Miller to start the second and stretch the lead to 5-1.

Henricks' second goal was awarded in credit only, considering that the score was an own-goal that seemed to deflate the Ponies for a significant period of time during the game before Ty Tuccitto scored with 5:05 remaining in the period.

Trey Gentz tacked on the sixth goal of the game for the Predators, while Jack Hodgins blanked the Ponies in the final period to end the game with 29 impressive saves.

BAA: Eden Prairie 7, Grand Forks (ND) 0

Home sweet home is a sentiment that rang true for the Eden Prairie Bantam AA team on Sunday, as the Eagles scored early and often to rout the Aviators of Grand Forks (ND) 7-0.

Carter Batchelder scored the first of his two goals early in the first period to open the scoring, and his goal was supplemented by a tally from John Hartle to make the score 2-0 Eden Prairie after one period.

Jacob Casey scored the first two goals of the second to stretch the Eden Prairie lead to 4-0, while Batchelder notched his second of the contest with just 38 seconds remaining on the clock to throw one more nail in the Grand Forks (ND) coffin.

Not satisfied with a 5-0 lead, the Eagles added two more scores in the third, with Drew Holt scoring on Luke Mittelstadt's third assist of the game, and Hartle netting his second goal on Batchelder's second helper of the contest.

The Eagles, ranked No. 2 in the latest NOW Rankings, have been nearly unbeatable since falling to No. 1 Osseo-Maple Grove in the Battle for the Blue Ox final, nine of their last ten games to run their record to 21-2-0.
