Behind a five-goal performance from Graham Feyen, Team Lit skated to a 16-9 victory over the Ice Cats to capture the Squirt B/C Division Championship of the New Year's Challenge at The Pond on Rosemount on Monday evening. 

Team Lit took a 12-9 lead into the game's final moments before scoring the next four goals to close out the victory, with Mason Henderson and Carter Campbell each scoring once during that four-goal stretch. In addition to Feyen's five, Henderson finished the game with three goals, as did Tate Sickman.

Feyen was named Player of the Tournament after leading the division with 23 goals in five goals for Team Lit. 

Blake Pavek, Charlie Fifield, and Brandon Lunneborg all scored two goals each for the Ice Cats in the loss. Liam Thomas led the Ice Cats in scoring over the five games of the New Year's Challenge with 13 goals.
