2004 Orange Championship

Entering Sunday, Rapid Fire Group had yet to allow a goal, much less find themselves in any real danger through three pool play games. RFG's romp through the 2004 Orange Division was halted by a pair of losses, once in the morning and once in the afternoon, both to the champion Madison Capitols.

Madison pulled away in the title game, scoring the game's final three goals en route to a 5-2 win. Aidan Lenz scored two goals and added an assist to lead the Capitols, with Cody Kempf, Isaac Nett, and Jonah Aegerter all chipping in single goals. Conner McClure scored both goals in the loss for RFG.

2005 Orange Championship

Upper Midwest Superior held off a late charge from the Minnesota Freeze to escape with the championship in the 2005 Orange Division, with Jackson Potulny scoring the eventual game-winner to put the Warriors up 3-1 late in the third period.

The Freeze took a 1-0 lead early in the first on a goal by John Finnegan, but UMW knotted the game at 1-1 minutes later. Lidstone Carter put UMW up 2-1 with a goal late in the first before Potulny's insurance goal in the third. Elliott Testa pulled the Freeze within one ay 3-2 with just 29 seconds remaining in regulation, but strong defense and goaltending by UMW prevailed in the game's final moments.
