2006: Minnesota Blades 8, Yuro Stars 4

Eight players tallied goals for the '07 Blades on Thursday night, erasing a 2-0 deficit during the first period in the process. 

Grant Young and Alex Bever scored midway through the first period for the Yuro Stars before the Blades found their feet, with Ryder Betzold, Gavin Kor, and Tyler Hess all finding the net in the first frame. Each team scored twice in the second, as Cullen Ingebritson and Tre Peck found the net for the Blades, while Trey Dionne and Brady McElmury pulled the Yuro Stars within one at 5-4 after two.

The slim 5-4 margin lasted for nearly nine minutes in the third period before Nolan Geerdes netted the sixth goal of the evening for the Blades, followed by two more insurance tallies from Henri Ament and Dylan Otten.

2006: Blue Army 6, East Metro 1

A scoreless second period was sandwiched between a four-goal first period and three-goal third, as Blue Army skated away with a 6-1 win over East Metro. 

Ryan Madigan scored twice in the first period, while Nolan Mickelson scored his first goal of the game between Madigan's tallies to give Blue Army a 3-0 lead early in the first frame. East Metro's Jackson Smithknecht put his team on the board with 5:08 to go in the first period. 

Hunter Friedrich scored the first goal of the third for Blue Amry, with Madigan compelling his hat-trick and Mickelson adding his second of the game with back-to-back goals in the third for the final of 6-1.

2005: Blue Army 4, Velocity 1

The first 15 minutes of Thursday night's game between Blue Army and Velocity yielded no score, with both teams locked into a 0-0 defensive battle and reliant upon solid goaltending on both ends. 

Blue Army opened the scoring with a pair of goals in the second period, as Kyle Ahlschlager and Tyler Geyer found the net just 13 seconds apart. Ahlschlager continued his strong play with a goal in the third period, and assisted on Blue Army's final goal of the evening, scored by Geyer. 

Sam Scheetz scored the lone goal of the game for Velocity, assisted by Chase Messner.

2004: Minnesota Blades 7, Blue Army 2

In a battle of two talented teams, the '04 Minnesota Blades ran away with Thursday night's finale, scoring five times in the third period to beat Blue Army 7-2. 

Through two periods the teams were even at 2-2, with Gabe Rasmussen and Kaden Spaniol tallying goals for Blue Army and the Blades answering with scores from Cole Spicer and Nick Pierre. 

With the score tied heading into the third, Blue Army carried the momentum but could not solve Christian Manz on an early third period power play. At that point, the tide turned when Jimmy Clark and Cole Spicer scored a minute apart to give the Blades a 4-2 lead.  Clark and Spicer would add two of the three final goals all into an empty net as the Army put up a good fight all game.
