Grey managed to hold off a late charge by an inspired Maroon squad to escape with a 4-2 win on Friday, giving Great a perfect 3-0 record at Ridder Arena.
Both Brody Dustin and Danny Nelson recorded two points in the win, with each player totaling a goal and an assist. Ben Tauscher scored the insurance goal to ice the win for Grey. Hagen Burrows scored the first goal of the game for Grey, while Maroon got its first goal from Eddie Revenig.
In the second game of the day, Gold took on White, with Gold in search of its first victory in three days. After being dispatched in tough losses in the days before, today would be Gold's day, as it squeaked past White 4-3.

Gold would again score in a pair, with Andrew Earl and Brittan Alstead netting goals to make the score 4-2 Gold. Will Zellers scored late to pull White within one, but the Gold defense and goaltending tightened in crunch time to cement the victory.
