The Kings, led by Isaac Howard, shut out the Bruins 6-0 in the first game of Friday's slate.
The 2018 Bantam Elite League Major Division season kicked off with a pair of shutouts, as the Kings downed the Bruins 6-0 and Great Plains blanked the Metro Alternates 3-0. Isaac Howard netted a hat-trick to lead the Kings to their victory, while Maddox Fleming and Charlie Stramel paced Great Plains. Fleming found Stramel for two of the three goals scored by Great Plains in the win.
As evening turned to night, the Sharks edged the North Stars 5-4 in the best game of the evening, as Adam Marshall scored two goals and made a key block in the last few second of regulation to preserve the win for the Sharks. Team North Dakota cruised past Team Wisconsin in the nightcap by a score of 8-2, powered by a five-point night by Owen Hanson. Hanson scored a goal and handed out four assists in the victory.
Isaac Howard scored three goals and added an assist in the win for the Kings.
Great Plains forward Maddox Fleming was named Player of the Game after handing out two assists on Friday.
Adam Marshall of the Sharks scored two goals and blocked a last-second shot to help clinch the 5-4 win on Friday night.
Cole Spicer scored two goals for Team North Dakota in its win over Team Wisconsin.

Marshall was a soft-handed bull in the offensive zone for the Sharks, tallying two goals and stretching numerous possessions into scoring chances.
Owen Hanson, Team North Dakota
Hanson played distribution specialist on Friday night, totaling five points on a goal and four assists in North Dakota's 8-2 win over Wisconsin.
Max Strand, North Stars
Despite taking a 5-4 loss at the hands (or fins) of the Sharks did nothing to dim the wattage of Strand's performance. Strand was relentless with and without the puck, scoring two goals an assisting on another.
Reed Kluender, Great Plains
The physical defenseman managed to fire off several shots in Great Plains' 3-0 win over the Metro Alternates, and routinely outmuscled opposing players along the boards in all three zones.
Owen Hanson recorded a goal and four assists for Team North Dakota on Friday.
