Four games round out a full weekend slate as Weekend 1 comes to close.

Max Burkholder was named Player of the Game for his outstanding performance on Sunday morning.

Team North Dakota 2, Great Plains 1


Trent Wiemken made 29 saves as Team North Dakota downed Great Plains 2-1.

Metro Alternates 6, Team Wisconsin 5 (SO)


Tyler Heise scores the eventual game-winning goal in the Metro Alternates' 6-5 shootout win over Team Wisconsin.

Sharks 5, Kings 1


Adam Marshall finished with a hat-trick in Sunday's finale.

Top Performers

Adam Marshall, Sharks 

Marshall teamed with Hayden Walters to dethrone the Kings, thanks in large part to a relentless penalty kill. Marshall finished with three goals and four points in the win.

Christian Manz, Sharks

Manz held the high-powered Kings off the board in the first half of Sunday's win, totaling 18 saves in the win. 

Trent Wiemken, Team North Dakota

Wiemken made 29 spectacular saves as Team North Dakota edged Great Plains 2-1, earning Player of the Game honors in the process. 

Max Burkholder, Penguins

Burkholder tallied a highlight-reel worthy goal in the Penguins' win over the North Stars and created numerous offensive chances from his position on the blue line.

Tyler Heise, Metro Alternates

The Metro Alternates picked up their first win on Sunday, with Heise scoring the game-winner in a shootout victory over Team Wisconsin. Heise played with great energy throughout the weekend.

Jaksen Panzer is among the leading scorers for North Dakota so far.
